Jae Hill

Principal

Jae has over twenty years of experience in planning across the Western US. He’s mostly served in manager or director-level roles of planning departments in predominantly smaller towns and mountain communities. Jae’s lived and worked in Tahoe, Sun Valley, Big Bear, and Alaska. Jae’s planning master’s thesis explored the climate change and affordable housing pressures facing mountain resort communities, which was later the subject of his 2016 TEDxSunValley talk.

Jae is also currently the Region V Commissioner for the American Planning Association’s AICP Commission, as well as the Chair of the Mason County Economic Development Council, and the president of the Bay Hill Homeowners Association.
